The reincarnation of a classic, though now much more elegant! RockShox opted for the stealth version of the axle, and while this reduces the weight, it can only be removed with an Allen key. The 1.8″ tapered version is available exclusively to manufacturers, requiring a special head tube and headset. The Domain is available with two different steerer tubes, but the standard 1.5″ tapered version is the only model relevant to us. The € 23 fender is made of plastic and conforms perfectly to the arch so there’s no rattling on the trail. Like the ZEB, there’s an optional mudguard available for the Domain that gets bolted to the arch. The fork can be ridden with tires up to 2.8″ wide, provided you’re not using the mudguard. Both the 29″ and the 27.5″ versions of the fork are available with travel ranging between 150 and 180 mm. Like the ZEB, the stiff chassis relies on 38 mm stanchions.
